Rules for preparation of the article


Journal "Reproductive Endocrinology" publishes articles on reproductive endocrinology, as well as on related problems associated with other medical specialties. The journal publishes innovative and original articles, brief reports, notes from practice, lectures, reviews, letters to the editors. Original articles are accompanied by comments of the editorial staff, editorial board or authoritative experts in this field.

For publication accepted articles that were not previously published. We do not accept previously published articles or submitted to other editions. By submitting an article, the author agrees that the copyright on it go to the publisher if the article is accepted for publication. Copyright includes the exclusive right to copy, distribute (including reprint, photos or any other form of reproduction of this kind), and translation of the article. Reprints of articles possible only with written consent of the editorial board and it are necessarily referring to the journal "Reproductive endocrinology".

Submitted to the Journal articles are peer reviewed. Editors have right to choose the reviewer. All materials submitted articles are reviewed and discussed by the editorial board.

Editorial opinion does not necessarily reflect the views of the authors of published articles. Responsibility for the accuracy and originality of the submission lies with the authors. The Editorial Board has the right to shorten and edit articles. Refusal to publishing is not necessarily accompanied by an explanation of its reasons and cannot be considered as a negative conclusion about the scientific and practical value of the work.

Responsibility for the accuracy of advertising publications is on advertiser. Articles are published in Ukrainian, Russian and/or English.

All articles received by the editor, are pass multi-stage review, review comments sent to the authors without names of reviewers. After receiving reviews and the answer's Editorial Board makes a decision on publication (or rejection) of the article. Rejected materials will not be returned. Board with graduate students for the publication of manuscripts is not charged.

The order of publication of the articles set to the plane of publication. The Editorial Staff has the right to shorten and edit your articles irrespective of their size, including changes in the titles of articles, terms and definitions. Stylistic corrections, item or formal nature are included in the article without permission of the author. If the article was processed by the author in preparation for publication, the date of receipt is the date of receipt of the final text.

Rules for article preparationinelectronically typecomply with the general rules of registration of printed articles, however, have their own characteristics.

Summary of technical requirements:

• Double-space all parts of manuscripts.

• Begin each section or component on a new page.

• Review the sequence: title page, abstract and key words, text, acknowledgments, references, tables (each on separate page), and legends.

• Illustrations (uncounted prints) should be no larger than 203 × 254 mm (8 × 10 in.).

• Include permission to reproduce previously published material or to use illustrations that may identify human subjects.

• Enclose transfer-of-copyright and other forms.

• Submit the required number of paper copies.

• Keep copies of everything submitted.

Electronic copy. The article is typed in the program Microsoft Word 2003-2007. The text should be saved in doc, rtf, or txt.

The title pageshould include: title of the paper, name, first name, middle name (in full) of each author with their organization, position, academic degrees and titles, contact information for publication in the public to communicate with the readers (e-mail); key words on Russian (at least 10).

Content.The paper should content the problems, to reflect the object of research, achieved level of the research process, the novelty of the results, their applicability. The article ends with the conclusion. The conclusions must contain the results of the novelty, effectiveness of their use, etc.

Volume of articles - no more than 20 pages(including figures, tables and references).

Use only standard abbreviations (abbreviation). Avoid abbreviations in the title and abstract. Abbreviation of the full term should proceed at its first use in the text (unless it is a standard unit of measurement and symbols).

Units of measurement of physical quantities, hematological, biochemical, and other indicators of the values used in medicine should be in units of the metric system (International System of Units [SI]).

Referred in article medications (drugs) and medical products for medical use (international nonproprietary name, INN) must be current registered in Ukraine, and methods for their introduction must match instruction approved Pharmacological Committee of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, or have permission to conduct a clinical trial for medical applications. You should only use the international name drugs. The exceptions are: combined, multi-drug, drugs based on medicinal plants and animal products.

Formulas.Easy and single-line formulas should be typed without using special editors. Special complex symbols and multi-line formulas that cannot be typed as usual, should be typed in the equation editor that is compatible with Microsoft Word. Type of mathematical formulas in the text should be consistent.

Literature references or other sources drawn numbers in square brackets, e.g. [1, 2]. References should be numbered consecutively. Bibliographical list is at the end. For links to Internet resources it must be indicated a name of resource. If possible, also indicate the author and year of publication on the Internet.

Bibliographic referencesare made on the original language in accordance with the requirements of bibliographic description and placed after the main text (see general rules).

English text(in Russian version) is at the end of the article and contains a translations of article title, author's name, abstract and key words (maximum of 6).

Footnotesshould be numbered in Arabic numerals. Footnotes placed at the end of the document.

Linksto grants that support the done work, acknowledgments are posted in the article before bibliographic references. Appreciation for the technical part is marked in a separate paragraph. Dedications are placed before the text.


Requirements for preparation of material to the journal "Reproductive Endocrinology" correspond to Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts (URM) Submitted to Biomedical Journals, developed by the International Committee of Medical Journals Editors.

General rules.The manuscript should be submitted in two copies, printed in the 14th in 2 font spacing on one side of white paper of A4 size (210 x 295 mm) with margins of 2.5 cm on both sides of the text.

Papers should include:

1) title page;

2) summary;

3) key words;

4) Introduction;

5) materials and methods;

6) results;

7) discussion;

8) tables;

9) image descriptions;

10) illustration;

11) references.

The paper should include a formal referral from the institution in which the work was performed. The first page of the paper should be signed by the scientific director, certified round seal of the institution. The last page of the manuscript should be signed by all authors.

The title page should include the following information:

1) Title of the paper, stated in the informative and very concise way;

2) Name and initials of authors;

3) Full name of the institution and department (departments, laboratories), where the work was performed;

4) Name, first name, full mailing address, telephone and fax, e-mail address of the author responsible for contacts with the publisher.

Summary is printed on a separate page, it must be structured and have the same structure as the article: a) purpose of the study, b) materials and methods, c) results d) conclusion.

Volume of summary should not exceed 200-250 words. On the same page should indicate "key words" (3 to 10 words) to facilitate indexing articles in information retrieval systems.

Abstract and key wordsmust be written in three languages (Ukrainian, Russian and English).

Text.The volume of the original article, as a rule, should not exceed 8-10 typewritten pages, the amount of short messages and notes from practice is 3-4 pages. The volume of lectures and reviews should not exceed 12-15 pages. Manuscripts must be typed in one of the following formats: DOC, RTF or TXT. Volume of ordered articles is determined by agreement.

The structure of the original articles should conform to the structure of scientific articles.

Introduction.Its aim is to formulate and justify the relevance of the study, briefly describe the issue, indicate links to the most relevant publications.

Materials and methods.It should result in quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the patients (patients), and remember all the research methods used in the work, including statistical treatment.

Results.Results should be presented in a logical sequence as a text, tables and figures. There is no need to repeat in the text all data of tables and figures, should indicate only the most important ones. In the figures should not duplicate data in tables. Figure captions and descriptions of their parts must be submitted on a separate page, with the appropriate numbering. Units must comply with the International System of Units (SI).

Discussion.You should not repeat the information provided in the section "Introduction", as well as data from the section "Results". The discussion can enable substantiated recommendations and a brief conclusion.

Tables.Tables should be numbered and have a title, headings graph should correspond to their content, and the figures in the table - a reference to them in the text. Should be indicating the statistical methods used to represent the variability of the data and the reliability of the differences. Not permitted reduction in items other than those commonly used. On each table in the text should be referenced. All clarifications, including the abbreviation, must be made to the footnotes. Explain in footnotes all non-standard abbreviations that are used in each table. For footnotes use the following symbols, in this sequence: *, †, ‡, §, , **, ††, ‡‡.

Illustrations (pictures, diagrams, photographs, results of X-ray studies) are available in 2 copies. On the back of the pencil drawings should indicate the author's name (only the first one), figure number, a designation the top of figure. Figures should not be overwhelmed by text labels. If the illustrations presented in electronic form, they should be stored in one of the following formats: PDF, TIFF, PSD, EPS, AI, CDR, QXD, INDD, JPG (150-600 dpi).

Accepted electronic carrier: Flash USB, CD / DVD. Image files must be on the same digital carrier as an article in TIFF or EPS format. Clarity scan of colored materials should be 300 dpi, black and white scans - no less than 600 dpi. Illustrations (graphs, charts, formulas) should be clear, photos should be contrast. Figures and tables should not duplicate each one. Figure captions submitted on a separate sheet with number and name of the picture. At the graphs and diagrams should be noted what is given at the coordinate axes, the same in the curves.

Formulas.Formulas should be clearly marked all the elements: lowercase (m) and lower (M) letters, underlined Latin letters by blue, Greek – by red, clearly marked subscript and superscript, and in the case of numbers and letters that are similar in spelling (0 - number O - letter) should make an appropriate endorsement.

Reduction. It is not allowed to reduce words, names (except for abbreviations of common measures of physical, chemical and mathematical units and terms). Measures shall be meeting to the International System of Units (SI) in have a Ukrainian / Russian designation.

Literature list.Bibliographic description is made in accordance with GOST 7.1:2006 "System of standards on information, librarianship and publishing. Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules of compiling. " Bibliography (references) is printed on a separate sheet. References should be in alphabetical order (first in Ukrainian and Russian, after that in foreign languages).
